Welcome to the Taylor'd Bundles blog - we like to blog about great gift ideas, a little about our small business journey, news and views. Guest bloggers welcome.
2016 was the year I had ear-marked for Taylor'd Bundles to find a suitable Mentor to help take the business to the next level, so when I found out about the Mentor MatcHER initiative, I knew this event was perfect for me.
The initiative is made up of a series of events that offers women in business the chance to hear directly from a panel of successful and well-known business women about their journeys, challenges and wins, but more than this, the initiative offered a exciting point of difference that immediately got my attention.
There is not one of us out there who knows it all, is the best at everything or has confidence in their ideas or ability 100% of the time.
By collaborating with others who you have a connection with, is the very best way to get the most of your idea. Collaborating with like-minded people helps chivvy us all on when we're feeling a little uncertain of next steps but it also helps grow seeds of ideas into stonking great chestnut tree businesses and its because of this, I am such an advocate of collaboration.
Abba, Ikea and even The Little Mermaid have been well loved by us Brits for generations. But creativity and talent isn’t the only thing that Scandinavians are applauded for. Their parental leave systems are among the most generous in the world, with both companies and employees from Sweden, Norway and Denmark reaping in benefits as a result.
What’s the score?
